Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to join our team at Sinex Global. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and supporting overall business performance.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform daily financial and accounting operations using the relevant accounting system
• Monitor and follow up on Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP), ensuring timely settlements and reconciliations
• Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure accurate recording of all transactions
• Communicate with suppliers to resolve financial and accounting-related issues
• Prepare and submit all statutory and regulatory reports in compliance with local legislation
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including cost analysis and financial reviews
• Support preparation of financial and management reports with a focus on accuracy and compliance
• Participate in internal and external audits and collaborate with auditors when required
• Carry out other accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of Azerbaijan tax legislation
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant work experience
• Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, PMS) are considered an advantage
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
• Experience with 1C accounting software (other ERP systems are a plus)
• Fluency in Azerbaijani and Russian; English is an advantage
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
