Electrician (Medium Voltage Systems)

RIGA B2B is looking for experienced Electricians to join our team and support industrial electrical installation and commissioning works across Europe.

Responsibilities:

• Installation and connection of Siemens medium-voltage switchgear
• Installation, routing and termination of medium-voltage power cables
• Cable routing, installation and termination works in accordance with project specifications and industry standards
• Assembly of cable terminations and joints
• Control and protection wiring
• Testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of electrical systems
• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, layouts, technical documentation and project specifications
• Ensuring works are completed according to quality, safety and project requirements

Requirements:

• Electrical qualification or relevant trade certification is required
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrician in industrial, energy, offshore, shipbuilding or manufacturing projects
• Experience with Siemens medium-voltage switchgear
• Experience with medium-voltage systems (10–36 kV)
• Experience with cable terminations, switchgear installation, testing and commissioning
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, layouts, technical documentation and project specifications
• Good understanding of electrical systems and safety requirements
• English language – good working level and communication skills (mandatory)
• Russian language – basic communication skills required
