Role Synopsis:
- The Senior Analyst – Projects Coordination will support the Head of Projects Coordination in overseeing the Group’s capital and priority development projects across hospitality, retail, residential, and commercial portfolios. The role will be responsible for analyzing project performance, coordinating cross-functional activities, preparing management reports, monitoring project progress, identifying risks and bottlenecks, and supporting strategic decision-making to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Accountabilities:
- Collect, analyze, and consolidate project information including budgets, schedules, risks, dependencies, and performance indicators.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, dashboards, trackers, and presentations for management and executive review.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and milestones; identify deviations and recommend corrective actions.
- Track critical issues across Legal, Procurement, Commercial, Construction, Development, and Operations departments and facilitate timely resolution.
- Provide direct support to the Head of Projects Coordination in preparing executive-level presentations, management reports, meeting materials, and decision-support documentation.
- Support the coordination between asset operators (hospitality, retail, residential, commercial) and central departments (Construction, Development, Legal, Procurement, Commercial).
- Maintain centralized project records, reporting systems, and documentation to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Analyze project risks, issues, and dependencies; support mitigation planning and escalation processes when required.
- Facilitate communication among stakeholders and contribute to effective governance of development projects.
- Assist in preparing periodic updates for Group Management, highlighting progress, risks, and strategic recommendations.
- Participate in cross-functional project meetings and monitor commitments and next steps.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project reporting, monitoring, and coordination processes.
Requirements
Desired background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in project coordination, project controls, project management support, business analysis, or reporting functions.
- Experience within real estate development, construction, hospitality, or large-scale investment projects is preferred.
- Exposure to CAPEX/OPEX project processes and inter-departmental coordination is an advantage.
Required skills:
- Advanced proficiency in English (written and verbal); Azerbaijani required; Russian is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong ability to create and deliver professional presentations in PowerPoint and manage complex reporting in Excel. Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise across departments.
- High-level organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver under deadlines.
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and reliable team player with strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience with project management and reporting tools is an advantage.
