Chief Commercial Analyst

Our client is seeking a Chief Commercial Analyst to join its Commercial & Operations team. This role is ideal for professionals with strong commercial, financial, and analytical capabilities who are interested in supporting large-scale projects and contributing to strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze payment requests, notifications, and supporting project documentation.
• Monitor compliance with commercial agreements and contractual obligations.
• Analyze project budgets, revenues, expenditures, and operational performance.
• Review contracts and provide commercial assessments and recommendations.
• Evaluate proposed amendments to contracts and project budgets.
• Prepare commercial, financial, and operational reports and presentations.
• Participate in meetings with stakeholders, partners, consultants, and operating companies.
• Maintain project documentation and commercial databases.
• Support management with analytical insights and recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience.
• Knowledge of project management principles.
• Strong financial and commercial analysis skills.
• Experience in preparing reports and presentations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluent Azerbaijani and English language skills.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational abilities.
