Chief Engineer

Badamdar Hotel and Residences is looking for a Chief Engineer to lead engineering team.

The main responsibilities will be as mentioned below:

• Ensure proper organization and management of Engineering department;
• Prepare and approve the annual technical activity plan;
• Monitor the preparation of work schedules in accordance with the workload and priorities of the technical department;
• Prepare appropriate specifications for all works involving external contractors or consultants
• Control the implementation of preventive maintenance of equipment and devices in guest rooms as well as in technical area;
• Lead the implementation of an effective problem reporting system, along with other daily general maintenance and repair work;
• Manage annual CAPEX and OPEX budgets to ensure effective management of the technical department;
• Prepare purchase requisitions in co-operation with procurement department;

Successful candidate should have:

• Bachelor/master’s degree in engineering and/or related field;
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in managerial role (hospitality background will be advantage);
• Excellent knowledge of hotel heating/ventilation as well as security systems;
• Strong leadership skills;
• Ability to train/coach employees when it’s required
