Cost Control Engineer

We are currently looking for an experienced Cost Control Engineer to join a major Oil & Gas project. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with strong project cost control expertise who are passionate about delivering projects within budget while supporting strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project cost control systems.
• Monitor project budgets, costs, commitments, and forecasts.
• Identify cost deviations and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and earned value analyses.
• Support contract changes, claims, and cost impact assessments.
• Coordinate project risk management activities, including risk analysis.
• Ensure compliance with company and client cost control procedures.
• Prepare project close-out cost reports and lessons learned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of Cost Control experience within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of IAS/IFRS and project cost control methodologies.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, earned value management, and risk analysis.
• Ability to manage project cost estimation and reporting.
• Fluent in English and Azerbaijani.
