The successful candidate will teach undergraduate law courses, develop course syllabi, and design assessments aligned with program learning outcomes. The role also includes advising and mentoring students, providing regular feedback on academic progress, and maintaining accessible office hours.
Faculty members are expected to engage in scholarly and/or professional activities, including research, publications, conference participation, legal practice, and professional outreach. They may also contribute to curriculum development, accreditation processes, departmental and university committees, and academic initiatives.
Positions may be offered on a full-time or adjunct basis and are based on-site in Khankendi, Azerbaijan.

• A master’s degree in Law is required; a PhD or an equivalent academic qualification will be considered an advantage;
• Relevant academic and/or professional experience in law is expected; however, this requirement may be waived for graduates of top-ranking universities;
• Strong command of the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, including relevant codes and sector-specific legal acts;
• A record of scholarly work, including academic publications, will be considered an advantage;
• Strong research skills;
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in Azerbaijani;
• For English-medium courses, a minimum C1 level of English proficiency is required;
• Ability to effectively use information and communication technologies in the teaching process;
• Ability to apply student-centered and competence-based teaching approaches;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Leadership and management skills.
