QA/QC Engineer

Description

• Supervise all fit-out and civil works activities to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
• Conduct regular quality inspections and audits of site works and materials
• Review and approve method statements, inspection test plans (ITPs), and material submittals
• Identify non-conformities and follow up on corrective and preventive actions
• Prepare and maintain detailed QA/QC records: inspection reports, logs, NCRs, and checklists
• Ensure project quality plans and procedures are implemented on-site
• Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, and contractors to meet quality objectives
• Report to the QA/QC Manager on all quality-related issues and updates
• Provide technical support and guidance to ensure proper execution of high-end fit-out works
• Support handover documentation, snagging, and final inspections for project closeout

Required knowledge and skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline

Specific areas of expertise:

• QA/QC for fit-out in high-end buildings (residential, offices, hotels), material inspections, quality standards

Work experience:

• At least 3-5 years of QA/QC experience, preferably in high-end fit-out projects
• Language and computer programs knowledge (Microsoft Office):
• MS Office, AutoCAD, QA/QC documentation tools
• Fluency in Azerbaijani, good command of English;

Special requirements 

• Strong knowledge of international and local quality standards
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently with high accountability
• Comfortable working in high-pressure, fast-paced site environments
