Research analyst

This position is intended for analysts who conduct analytical and research activities in the field of education.

Responsibilities

• Collecting, processing, and analyzing academic and operational data across campuses;
• Conducting competitive analysis, industry research, and benchmarking studies;
• Analyzing educational KPIs, including student retention, academic performance, and enrollment metrics;
• Developing and maintaining management dashboards, analytical reports, and interactive data visualizations in MS Excel (including Power Pivot);
• Identifying risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization;
• Forecasting student enrollment trends and resource requirements;
• Ensuring data quality through data verification, validation, and cleansing processes;
• Preparing analytical reports and presentations for senior management;
• Performing ad hoc analytical tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Management, Mathematics, International Relations, or a related field;
• At least 2–3 years of experience in an analytical role (business, operations, or education sector);
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (including Power Pivot) and PowerPoint;
• Experience working with Pivot Tables, large datasets, and unstructured reporting;
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns and relationships within fragmented data;
• Fluency in Russian; English proficiency will be considered an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the education sector, large-scale organizations, or EdTech projects;
• Experience presenting analytical findings to senior management;
• Understanding of educational metrics and planning cycles within educational institutions;
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing business processes within an educational ecosystem;
• Proactive approach to proposing innovative solutions for business process optimization.
