About this role

We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Development Representative with 1–2 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or technology sales.

The ideal candidate will identify new business opportunities, generate leads, conduct client meetings, and support revenue growth for Spark AI's solutions in Azerbaijan. The role focuses on prospecting, relationship building, and converting opportunities into long-term clients.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, IT, or a related field.

Experience

  • 1–2 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Lead Generation, or Account Management.
  • Experience in Technology, SaaS, Software, AI, IT Solutions, HR Tech, or Digital Solutions will be an advantage.

Skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and achieve targets.
  • Good understanding of LinkedIn Sales Navigator and CRM systems.
  • Strong research and prospecting skills.
  • Professional English communication skills.
  • Azerbaijani language is mandatory.
  • Turkish language will be considered a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify and approach potential clients across industries including Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Logistics, Retail, Banking, and Government sectors.
  • Generate qualified leads through cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, networking, and referrals.
  • Conduct a minimum of:
  • 40-50 outbound calls daily
  • 20 LinkedIn outreach messages daily
  • 15-20 business emails daily
  • Schedule meetings, product demonstrations, and presentations for prospective clients.
  • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline using CRM tools.
  • Prepare proposals, presentations, and commercial offers.

Market Research

  • Research the Azerbaijan market to identify emerging opportunities and industry trends.
  • Analyze competitors and identify potential areas for business growth.
  • Maintain a database of target companies and key decision-makers.

Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and clients.
  • Attend business networking events, exhibitions, and industry conferences in Baku.
  • Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to ensure successful client engagement.

Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
  • Submit weekly pipeline reports and monthly business development reports.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
