Job Summary
- Responsible for the market expansion of mobile operators' wireless communication solutions and products (including base station RF, baseband, backhaul equipment development, antennas, and wireless IoT), identifying customer requirement (network insights and target network planning, customer interface presentations), and adapting solutions (solution architecture design, product selection, configuration). The role also involves achieving sales targets (driving sales scale, setting solution commercial terms, and conducting commercial negotiations) and handling internal processes such as contracts. This position combines both business development and technical support functions, requiring not only excellent sales skills but also a deep understanding of wireless communication technologies.
- Key Responsibilities
- Gain insights into the live network of the operator's wireless access network and communicate with the customer about the target network. This includes gaining in-depth insights into the customer's network development status, identifying the customer's potential requirements and pain points (technical development requirements and business development requirements), and communicating the network insight results to the customer based on professional expertise.
- Design solutions and select and configure products. This includes selecting appropriate wireless solutions and products, and configuring hardware and software items to meet customer requirements.
- Based on the operator's historical sales habits, match the commercial model and design the solution's commercial part, design the commercial offer and communicate with the customer, and support the account department in commercial negotiation with the operator.
- Be responsible for the internal wireless-related project processes of the company, including the bidding process, internal opportunity registration, project initiation, internal project review process, contract or PO registration process, and historical contract change process.
Qualifications & Requirements
Language:
- Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is an asset
Experience:
- Have more than five years of experience in the field of mobile communication engineers of the carrier;
- Have experience in selling mobile communication products is preferred;
- Be familiar with the bidding process.
Technical Skills:
- Have a proficient command of 5G/4G base station solutions, indoor distributed systems, and wireless auxiliary equipment (microwave and IP RAN).
- Understand the business scenarios, technical architecture, target network composition, status quo, and development trend of operators' wireless services.
- Be familiar with wireless network planning and simulation, and wireless networks.
Sales & Soft Skills:
- Possesses strong communication skills, the ability to coordinate surrounding resources, and business negotiation skills.
