External Affairs Executive

The offer provides the opportunity to support key BAT CORA function alongside with professionals from other departments committed to fostering a supportive and efficient workplace.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Involvement in daily activities, analysis and research.
• Act as the trusted advisor to Legal, Trade, Marketing, Finance, HR and other departments from regulation and reputation perspective.
• Interaction with representatives of government authorities.
• Preparation and execution of media plan, interaction with agencies and non-governmental communities in respect of public health policies.
• Implementation of internal communications programs aimed at informing employees and business based on gathered information about the strategy, goals, plans of the company within the company or international group of companies.
• Fact-finding, analysis and prompt notification of the management on problems and developments relevant to company's business on an ongoing basis.
• Organizing events and well-being programs.
• Supporting all external engagement activities and driving the company’s public affairs strategy in Azerbaijan and Georgia.
• Strong adherence to compliance requirements of company.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s Degree in University student of Law, Business Administration, Social Communication, Political Science or related fields.
  Understanding of laws and regulations is an advantage.
• English – advanced, Russian would be an advantage.
• At least 3 year experience.
• Good communication and organization skills.
• Advanced PowerPoint.
• Attention to details.
• Initiative and proactivity.
• Agile in problem solving.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• A proactive team player with a can-do attitude.
