HSE Officer (Offshore)

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure compliance with HSE procedures, plans, and regulatory requirements
• Act as Site Permit Controller and oversee Permit to Work (PTW) implementation
• Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, audits, and safety verifications
• Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and safety training sessions
• Promote HSE awareness and a strong safety culture among personnel and subcontractors
• Support incident investigations and corrective action implementation
• Monitor HSE performance and prepare reports and KPIs
• Participate in client meetings, audits, and safety improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Higher education degree
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar HSE role within the Oil & Gas industry
• Offshore construction experience is mandatory
• Experience delivering HSE training and inductions
• Strong knowledge of PTW systems, risk assessments, hazard identification, and incident investigation
• Knowledge of electrical safety and working-at-height requirements
• Excellent reporting, planning, and organizational skills
• Fluent English and Azerbaijani
