Marine Assistant

We’re hiring: Marine Assistant 

Safina Shipmanagement LLC is looking for a Marine Assistant with hands-on experience in maritime operations and vetting processes to join our growing team.

If you’re detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in an international shipping environment – this role is for you.

What you’ll do:

• Prepare and maintain Q88, HVPQ, Operator Matrix, and vetting-related questionnaires
• Coordinate and book SIRE 2.0 inspections
• Prepare planners and track related marine documentation
• Assist Marine Superintendents with PSC, FSI, and related inspections
• Liaise with flag states, classification societies, and external stakeholders
• Support Marine Operations & HSSEQ-related tasks as required

What we’re looking for:

• University degree in any field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience with vetting documentation and inspection processes
• Strong MS Office skills
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
• Proactive, adaptable, and team-oriented mindset
• Willingness to travel for company-related assignments
