Microbiology Specialist

We are looking for “Microbiology Specialist" (only local candidates will be considered) with the requirements below: 

Key Responsibilities:

• Contributing to product quality by carrying out the following Microbiology Department activities:
• Preparing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in accordance with current guidelines,
• Performing microbiological analyses of water systems,
• Conducting environmental monitoring and controls in production areas,
• Performing microorganism identification tests,
• Preparing periodic trend analyses and reporting annual process evaluations,
• Conducting microbiological method validation studies,
• Developing and implementing microbiological analysis methods for raw materials and finished products,
• Monitoring and following up on calibration processes of laboratory equipment,
• Performing microbiological validation tests required for Product Quality Assurance,
• Preparing, storing, and maintaining microorganism reference cultures,
• Preparing and controlling culture media and laboratory solutions,
• Monitoring and managing laboratory consumables and supplies.

Additional requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Biology or a related field from a recognized university,
• Preferably at least 2 years of Microbiology Laboratory experience in the pharmaceutical industry,
• Knowledge of microbiology-related sections of pharmaceutical guidelines and regulations,
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills,
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and disciplined working approach,
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment,
• Proficient in English, with the ability to actively participate in discussions, prepare reports, and follow technical guidelines.
