Midstream Technical Advisor

We are seeking an experienced Midstream Technical Advisor to provide technical expertise and operational support for pipeline and midstream facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pipeline systems, process engineering, and operational excellence within the oil & gas industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance on pipeline transportation, storage, and distribution systems.
• Support pipeline design reviews, integrity management, and operational optimization.
• Analyze process flow from upstream intake through downstream delivery.
• Review and interpret P&IDs, process flow diagrams (PFDs), and technical documentation.
• Advise on pipeline integrity, maintenance strategies, and industry best practices.
• Coordinate with field operations, maintenance teams, and engineering disciplines.
• Participate in risk assessments, hazard identification, and mitigation activities.
• Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and technical reporting.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards, regulatory requirements, and company procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Petroleum, Chemical, Pipeline Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in pipeline engineering, midstream operations, or technical advisory roles.
• Strong understanding of pipeline systems and midstream operations (transportation, storage, and distribution).
• Knowledge of pipeline design fundamentals, including flow, pressure, materials, and integrity.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and process flow diagrams.
• Familiarity with pipeline integrity management and maintenance practices.
• Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering and field teams.
• Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and incident investigation processes.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Languages

• English – Professional working proficiency.
• Azerbaijani – Preferred.
