• Lead the day-to-day operational management of assigned projects, ensuring alignment with project schedules, budgets, and technical requirements. 
• Oversee project planning, resource allocation, logistics, and execution strategies to ensure safe and efficient delivery.
• Act as the focal point between project teams, operations, contractors, and clients to maintain seamless project execution. 
• Drive operational readiness for project commissioning, start-up, and handover to production/operations teams. 
• Ensure all project operations comply with HSE policies, international standards, and local regulations. 
• Promote a strong safety culture across all project activities, both onshore and offshore. 
• Monitor contractor performance to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. 
• Manage EPC and service contractors, ensuring contractual obligations are met. 
• Oversee vendor performance, claim management, and change order negotiations. 
• Act as the key interface with regulatory bodies, partners, and JV stakeholders on operational project matters. 
• Implement best practices in project controls, scheduling, cost management, and risk mitigation. 
• Monitor project KPIs, report performance to senior management, and recommend corrective actions as required. 
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across project operations. 
• Lead and mentor project operations teams, fostering a high-performance, safety-first culture. 
• Build strong collaboration across engineering, supply chain, and operations functions. 
• Ensure succession planning and competency development within the team. 
• Participate in project feasibility discussions and coordinate information handoff to appropriate project manager
• Establish clear process for cross-functional collaboration and communicate goals, roles and desired outcomes 
• Operate within standard operating and safety procedures

• Perform job duties diligently and in full compliance with the job standard, company policies, and relevant regulatory requirements. 
• Maintain adherence to labor discipline, professional ethics, and internal company rules. 
• Strictly follow all QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, Environment) policies, standards, and procedures.

Xüsusi tələblər

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field. 
• Master’s degree (MBA/MSc) preferred. 
• Professional certifications (PMP, APM, or equivalent) highly desirable. 
• Minimum 10–12 years of oil & gas industry experience, with at least 5 years in project management/operations leadership roles. 
• Strong understanding of project controls, contracting, logistics, and operations integration. 
• Deep knowledge of international oil & gas project standards (API, ISO, ASME, NORSOK). 
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and risk management capabilities. 
• Proven track record of managing large-scale upstream or midstream oil & gas projects (EPC, drilling, production facilities, subsea, pipelines).
