The Role As our Sales Manager for GovTech Solutions, you will spearhead our public sector sales efforts targeting new and expanding markets. You will be responsible for navigating the unique complexities of international government procurement, building long-term relationships with key public sector decision-makers, and closing high-impact deals. If you understand the nuances of digital modernization in government structures and thrive on building large-scale public sector partnerships, we want you on our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Pipeline Generation: Prospect, identify, and qualify new business opportunities across national ministries, provincial governments, and municipal agencies.

Full-Cycle Sales Management: Drive the sales process from initial outreach and product demonstrations to complex contract negotiations and final closing.

Public Sector Procurement: Navigate highly complex government buying cycles, public tenders, RFPs (Request for Proposals), and direct procurement vehicles across diverse regulatory environments.

Strategic Funding Alignment: Identify and leverage government projects backed by international development organizations, grants, and multilateral development banks that fund digital infrastructure.

Relationship Building: Cultivate trusted, culturally attuned relationships with key stakeholders, including Ministers, CIOs, IT Directors, Agency Heads, and procurement officers.

Solution Selling: Deeply understand the specific developmental and operational pain points of government agencies and clearly articulate how NAIC’s GovTech solutions deliver transparency, capacity building, efficiency, and strong ROI.

Market Strategy: Stay current on government mandates, smart city initiatives, and digital transformation frameworks to strategically position our products. Feed market insights back to the Product team to ensure alignment with public sector needs.

Qualifications Experience: 5+ years of successful quota-carrying sales experience, with a minimum of 3 years specifically in GovTech, public sector, or enterprise software sales.

Procurement Expertise: Proven track record of successfully navigating government buying cycles, public tenders, and strict compliance requirements.

Market Fluency: Deep understanding of the bureaucratic structures, digital maturity levels, and long-cycle purchasing behaviors of government entities.

Communication: Exceptional presentation and written communication skills in English, with the ability to translate technical capabilities into civic and operational value.

Tenacity & Adaptability: High level of resilience required to manage the longer, highly relationship-driven sales cycles typical in government markets.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Relations, Public Administration, Technology, or a related field.

Travel: Willingness to travel extensively (up to [40-50]%) to meet with government officials and stakeholders face-to-face.
