Service Engineer (Medical Equipment)

We are a representative office of a leading manufacturer of high-tech medical devices for physical therapy, robotic rehabilitation, cardiology, and aesthetic medicine.

We are looking for a proactive Service Engineer who combines strong technical expertise with excellent customer-facing skills.

Conditions:

• Location: Baku, Azerbaijan
• Employment Type: Full-time
• Salary Range: 1000 AZN Net + KPI bonuses

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation & Commissioning: Install, calibrate, and commission medical systems (robotic rehab, physical therapy devices, cardiology equipment, medical lasers, and RF devices).
• Maintenance & Diagnostics: Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) and hardware/software diagnostics.
• Repair Services: Execute warranty and post-warranty repairs (both component-level and block-level troubleshooting).
• Customer Training: Conduct technical briefings and training sessions for medical staff (physicians, rehabilitation specialists, cardiologists, and cosmetologists).
• Commercial Service Support: Identify customer needs for spare parts, consumables, and additional repairs; generate commercial offers and issue repair invoices.
• Reporting & Vendor Liaison: Maintain accurate technical documentation and service reports; collaborate with manufacturer on warranty claims and complex technical issues.
• Warehouse management: shipments to customers, stock-in & stock-out. 

Requirements:

• Education: Degree in Engineering (preferred fields: Biomedical Engineering, Mechatronics & Robotics, Electronics, or Automation).
• Experience: 1+ years of experience as a service engineer handling medical equipment, robotics, or complex industrial electronics.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading electrical schematics; solid understanding of electronics, mechanics.
• Language Skills: Azerbaijani (fluent), Russian, English  — ability to read technical manuals without assistance and communicate with manufacturer’s international support via email.
• Mobility: Willingness to travel across regions of Azerbaijan (travel frequency directly correlates with equipment sales volume in specific regions).
• Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, customer-oriented mindset, and a basic understanding of service monetization principles.

Niceties (Plus):

• Hands-on experience with robotic systems (e.g., exoskeletons, locomotion therapy systems) or medical laser technologies.
• Valid factory training certificates from medical equipment manufacturers.
