О должности

Role

  • Provide 2nd level technical support to ensure the efficient and effective operation of our solutions. Perform complex maintenance and troubleshooting tasks, and deliver on-site technical support within the assigned regions. Carry out Repair Center activities.

Specific Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Provide 2nd level support for all types of technical issues
  • Ensure timely resolution of incidents and problems within defined service levels
  • Perform user management and routine system administration tasks
  • Respond to requests from other technical teams
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues
  • Coordinate service activities with other Field Service Technicians
  • Perform system monitoring activities
  • Test new releases and system upgrades
  • Install, configure, optimize and maintain systems and applications
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation
  • Support the continuous development of technical skills within local teams
  • Act as a point of contact (SPOC) between Level 2 and Level 3 support teams
  • Define and develop maintenance-oriented KPIs
  • Perform periodic calibrations

This also involves:

  • Identify situations requiring urgent attention and escalate appropriately
  • Coordinate deployments with other operational units and teams
  • Provide feedback and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Work outside business hours and be available for on-call support based on business needs
  • Support or lead new deployments when required

Profile

  • Technical or Engineering degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in maintaining and troubleshooting equipment in a factory or industrial environment
  • Proficient in English
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to diagnose and analyse mechanical, electrical and application issues, including log analysis
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word)
  • Experience in managing and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows environments
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Meticulous and well-organized
  • Customer-oriented mindset
  • Willingness to travel at short notice and undertake mid-term assignments abroad

Knowledge in one or more of the following fields is a plus:

  • Experience in troubleshooting computer networks
  • Knowledge of IT support tools such as FTP, SSH, Putty, SVN and remote access solutions
  • Knowledge of standard IT support procedures and tools
  • Basic knowledge of PLC setup and programming
  • Knowledge of fuel industry specifications
  • Experience with analytical laboratory practices and techniques
