Cost Controller

Company – Azfen LLC – Tank Construction Project

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control project costs against approved budgets and forecasts.
• Prepare and maintain project cost reports, commitment reports, and cash flow forecasts.
• Track actual expenditures and analyze variances against budget and planned values.
• Assist in the preparation and updating of project budgets and cost forecasts.
• Support the development of Estimate at Completion (EAC) and Estimate to Complete (ETC) forecasts.
• Experience in preparing Form-2 (progress payment/interim payment) documentation and supporting cost verification processes.
• Review procurement commitments, subcontractor costs, and project expenditures.
• Identify cost risks and opportunities and recommend corrective actions where required.
• Coordinate with Project Controls, Procurement, Contracts, and Finance teams to ensure accurate cost tracking.
• Support change management activities by assessing the cost impact of project changes and variations.
• Prepare weekly and monthly cost performance reports for project management.
• Maintain accurate project cost records and support documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Cost Control within construction, oil & gas, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
• Experience working on EPC or large-scale construction projects is preferred.  Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and cost reporting tools.  Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and reporting skills.
• Good command of English, both written and verbal.
