Financial Accountant

We are looking for a proactive and ambitious Financial Accountant to join our growing team operating in the medical devices and healthcare consumables industry.

This role goes beyond routine accounting operations. The ideal candidate will support financial reporting, business performance monitoring, cost-tracking and process improvement initiatives while ensuring accurate accounting and compliance practices.

Location: Heydar Aliyev Avenue 144, Baku

Schedule: Monday–Friday - 09:00–18:00, 1 hour lunch break.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records in accordance with company policies and local regulations; 
• Process and control purchase, sales and inventory transactions within 1C; 
• Prepare and manage invoices, e-invoices and supporting accounting documents; 
• Execute and monitor local and international bank transactions; 
• Reconcile bank accounts, suppliers and customer balances; 
• Support tax compliance processes and preparation of statutory reports; 
• Assist in preparation of management and financial reports; 
• Ensure accurate inventory accounting and stock reconciliations; 
• Assist during audits and internal control reviews; 
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives. 

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field; 
• 1-3 year of relevant accounting/finance experience; 
• Ability to independently manage day-to-day accounting operations; 
• Experience with tax portals, e-invoices and banking transactions; 
• Understanding of local tax regulations and reporting requirements; 
• Experience with local and international bank payments; 
• Interest in financial reporting and management reporting processes. 

Technical Skills

• Good command of 1C; 
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel; 
• Ability to prepare and analyze reports using Excel; 
• Experience with ERP and CRM systems is an advantage.

Languages

• Azerbaijani: Fluent; 
• English: Working proficiency is an advantage; 
• Russian: An advantage. 

Professional Development

• Candidates pursuing or planning to pursue ACCA, DipIFR or similar professional qualifications will be considered an advantage.
