Pipeline Integrity Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Pipeline Integrity Engineer to ensure the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of pipeline assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing integrity management programs, evaluating pipeline risks, analyzing inspection data, and recommending mitigation measures to maintain asset integrity throughout the pipeline lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain Pipeline Integrity Management Systems (PIMS).
• Assess pipeline integrity threats, including internal and external corrosion, geotechnical hazards, third-party damage, manufacturing defects, and operational risks.
• Analyze data from inline inspections (ILI), intelligent pigging, corrosion monitoring, and integrity assessments.
• Conduct fitness-for-service (FFS) evaluations and remaining life assessments.
• Develop risk-based inspection (RBI) and maintenance strategies.
• Review and interpret inspection reports, engineering studies, and integrity assessment results.
• Manage pipeline anomaly assessment and repair programs.
• Support cathodic protection and corrosion control programs.
• Participate in root cause analysis of pipeline failures and incidents.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and international codes.
• Prepare technical reports, integrity plans, and management presentations.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, HSE, Projects, and third-party contractors.
• Support emergency response activities and integrity-related investigations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Pipeline Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in pipeline integrity, pipeline engineering, corrosion engineering, or asset integrity management within the oil & gas industry.
• Strong understanding of pipeline design, operation, inspection, and maintenance practices.
• Knowledge of pipeline integrity standards and regulations.
