Product Owner

About the Role

• We are looking for an experienced Product Owner to lead the development and delivery of one of our digital products. You will own the product vision, prioritize the backlog, and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver user-centric solutions that align with business goals. A proven background as a Business Analyst is a must for this role.
• This is not a purely strategic role. You will act as the hub for the product, orchestrating all the teams around it: engineering, QA, design, marketing, client relations, project management, sales, and support; and keeping them aligned on shared goals, priorities, and deadlines. On the delivery side you should be technical enough to understand how work is built, judge for yourself how long a given engineering task should reasonably take, challenge estimates constructively, and spot risks before they slip.

Salary: According to the company salary scale

Working hours: 09:00 – 18:00

Requirements

• 4+ years of overall experience in Business Analysis and Product Ownership
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Business Analytics
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Product Ownership
• Languages: Azerbaijani and English — required; Russian — desirable
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, technical and non-technical (marketing, client relations, project management, sales), and drive delivery against deadlines.
• Technical fluency: ability to understand engineering tasks, estimate effort, read technical trade-offs, and hold constructive conversations with developers about scope and timelines.
• Proficiency with Figma and Confluence
• Writing user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria
• Building the product roadmap
• Defining and tracking product metrics (adoption, engagement, retention)
• Bachelor's degree in Information and Communication Technologies, Business Administration, or a related field

Desirable

• Project Management certification (PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent) and related courses
• Experience with AI tools
