Summary

• The Production Planner is responsible for planning and coordinating production activities, ensuring effective utilization of materials, resources, and production capacities. The role supports smooth production operations through accurate planning, monitoring of production schedules, coordination with relevant departments, and contribution to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Process production orders and ensure their effective flow throughout the production cycle.
• Prepare production plans, coordinate material requirements, and ensure timely availability of required resources.
• Monitor production schedules, identify deviations, and make necessary operational plan adjustments.
• Plan material flows and production capacities in line with production requirements and lean manufacturing principles.
• Monitor production plan fulfillment and prepare regular reports on operational performance and current status.
• Coordinate communication between Production, Technical Preparation of Production (TPV), Purchasing, and other relevant departments.
• Support production planning processes through ERP systems and ensure accurate data management.
• Participate in optimization of production processes and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support project-related activities by preparing required information, reports, and progress updates.
• Identify planning-related issues, analyze potential risks, and contribute to effective problem-solving.
• Perform other planning and operational tasks assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in production planning, manufacturing, operations, or a related field.
• Secondary or bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical, Economics, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Knowledge of production planning, resource management, and production management principles.
• Understanding of ERP systems and their application in production management processes; experience with APS systems is considered an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Excel.
• Fluency in English and Russian languages; 
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently.
• Experience in project management or process improvement initiatives is considered an advantage.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• High level of accuracy, responsibility, and attention to detail.

Working Conditions

• Five-day working week.
• Work location: Sumgayit city.
