Senior Design Manager

About the Role

• We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Design Manager to lead the complete design lifecycle of large-scale residential, commercial, office, and mixed-use developments. The successful candidate will manage multidisciplinary design teams while ensuring design excellence, commercial viability, and project constructability.

Location: Baku, Azerbaijan

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Lead projects from concept through construction.
• Manage architects, consultants, and multidisciplinary design teams.
• Ensure alignment between design, budget, schedule, and business objectives.
• Review and approve design documentation.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support value engineering and cost optimization.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
• Drive innovation and sustainable design solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
• 15+ years of architectural design experience.
• At least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Experience with 100,000+ m² real estate developments.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Fluency in English; Azerbaijani or Turkish is an advantage.
