Data Reporting Specialist

Job requirements:  

• 1-2 years of experience in reporting, analytics or a related field; 
• Proficiency in MySQL, PostgreSQL and Tableau; 
• Experience in SQL performance tuning and query optimization;
• Ability to use automation tools (e.g., scripting or scheduling tools); 
• Strong attention to detail; 
• Experience with data governance frameworks and practices.  

Job responsibilities:  

• Produce and distribute daily and ad-hoc reports from MySQL (transitioning to PostgreSQL in the future) to meet business requirements;
• Ensure data governance principles are followed in reports, maintaining data consistency and accuracy;
• Implement automated report generation and data refresh processes where feasible to save time and reduce errors; 
• Write and optimize SQL queries to improve report processing time and minimize server load;
• Develop, maintain and enhance Tableau dashboards for visualizing data;
• Collaborate with teams across the organization to understand reporting needs and deliver insights;
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular audits and checks on reports;
• Continuously improve reporting processes to increase efficiency and scalability. 

Working schedule: 5 days a week, 09:00-18:00
