• Closely monitoring the technical level of the electrical engineering team, lead electrical systems design and engineering activities. 
• Functional owner of electrical engineering procedures and practices. Ensures that the electrical team works in full compliance to engineering procedures and processes.
• Lead design and delivery of electrical packages such as Switchgear and MCC, Power Generation systems, HV & LV systems, Transformers, UPS, PMS, VFD etc. 
• Lead preparation of electrical specifications, data sheets, single line diagrams, load lists, interconnection drawings and schematics.
• Lead preparation of Electrical system studies such as Protection Coordination study, Load Flow, Short Circuit, Arc Flash, Motor Starting studies etc.
• Active participation in HAZOP / E-HAZOP Workshops, Risk Assessments, Model reviews, Design Reviews etc.
• Evaluation of vendor proposals and technical bids.
• Review of vendor documentation and reports post award and active coordination of factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT).
• Closely support front-end concept development and selection process.
• Support construction, commissioning, pre-startup activities and resolution of site technical queries.
• Closely support electrical engineering training requirements and talent development.

Xüsusi tələblər

• Relevant engineering Degree, preferably Master’s, in Electrical engineering 
• 15 years of experience in Oil and Gas industry, including at least 3-5 years of experience of managing full pre-award and post award processes.
• Good working knowledge of Upstream Industry, its processes and business eco system.
• Significant prior experience in designing electrical system engineering.
• Good working knowledge of relevant engineering standards (IEC, IEEE, API, NFPA, NEMA, ATEX etc.) 
• Professional Membership or Chartership
• Brownfield upstream experience mandatory
