Deck Foreman

We are currently seeking an experienced Deck Foreman to join a major offshore Oil & Gas project. This role is ideal for professionals with strong leadership skills and hands-on experience in offshore lifting, rigging, and deck operations, with an unwavering commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all deck, lifting, and rigging operations onboard.
• Supervise rigging crews, crane operators, and deck personnel.
• Manage deck space to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
• Ensure all lifting equipment and rigging gear are certified, inspected, and properly maintained.
• Conduct Tool Box Talks (TBTs), Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), and support Permit to Work (PTW) compliance.
• Monitor workplace safety, housekeeping, and lifting operations.
• Investigate and report unsafe conditions, incidents, and near misses.
• Promote a strong HSE culture and ensure compliance with company procedures and industry standards.

Requirements

• Technical education.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role on an Offshore Construction Vessel within the Oil & Gas industry.
• BP Module 1 or Module 2 certification.
• Strong knowledge of lifting operations, rigging practices, and offshore safety procedures.
• Proven leadership and team coordination skills.
• English (Upper-Intermediate) and Azerbaijani (Fluent).
