Offshore Mechanic Foreman

We are looking for an experienced Offshore Mechanic Foreman to join a major offshore construction project and lead mechanical maintenance activities onboard an offshore construction vessel.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the offshore mechanical maintenance team onboard the vessel
• Ensure continuous and reliable operation of mechanical equipment through planned and corrective maintenance
• Supervise deck mechanics and monitor work quality, productivity, and execution schedules
• Manage equipment repairs, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities in compliance with HSE and quality standards
• Ensure compliance with Permit to Work (PTW), isolation procedures, Toolbox Talks, and JSA requirements
• Monitor equipment performance and implement strategies to improve reliability and asset availability
• Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance records
• Investigate equipment malfunctions and coordinate corrective actions
• Promote a strong safety culture and maintain a clean and organized working environment

Requirements

• Technical education in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar supervisory role onboard offshore construction vessels within the Oil & Gas industry
• Strong background in mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of offshore equipment
• Experience leading maintenance teams in offshore environments
• Good knowledge of maintenance planning, asset reliability, and HSE requirements
• Fluent English and Azerbaijani
