Offshore Mechanic Foreman

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the offshore mechanical maintenance team onboard the vessel
• Ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of mechanical equipment and assets
• Plan and supervise routine and non-routine maintenance and repair activities
• Coordinate deck mechanics and monitor work quality, productivity, and schedules
• Ensure compliance with Permit to Work (PTW), isolation procedures, JSA, Toolbox Talks, and HSE requirements
• Monitor equipment performance and implement maintenance strategies to improve reliability and availability
• Manage spare parts requirements and maintenance records
• Investigate equipment failures and coordinate corrective actions
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized working environment onboard

Requirements

• Technical education in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar supervisory role onboard construction vessels within the Oil & Gas industry
• Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of offshore equipment
• Experience leading maintenance teams in offshore environments
• Good understanding of HSE standards, Permit to Work systems, and maintenance planning
• Fluent English and Azerbaijani
