Middle/Senior Product Owner

We are seeking a business-focused, data-driven Middle/Senior Product Owner to own the backlog and delivery execution for our global SaaS platform. In a fast-moving, subscription-based business, we need someone who can translate product direction into implementation-ready requirements, run rigorous experimentation, and keep engineering, business, and leadership aligned, while maintaining hands-on ownership of the details that determine whether a release actually ships.

This role is ideal for someone with strong business instincts, a product mindset and a passion for building scalable SaaS products and who is equally comfortable writing granular specs as they are presenting results and roadblocks to leadership.

Job responsibilities:

• Maintain and prioritize a high-impact backlog, balancing business value, technical effort, and system integrity
• Receive prioritized product direction from Product Management and translate it into granular, implementation-ready requirements.
• Champion a culture of quality within the team by advocating for adequate testing, well-defined acceptance criteria, and clean technical practices.
• Evaluate product success through clear metrics tied to operational efficiency and performance
• Develop appropriately detailed specifications for the product features so they are clearly understood by the development teams.
• Act as primary liaison between business and technology, and wider stakeholders as required, including reporting and wider updates
• Plan, execute, and analyze A/B tests and other experiments to validate product hypotheses and optimize conversions, onboarding, retention, and monetization.
• Maintains high level knowledge of all product initiatives and communicates deadline changes to leadership in coordination with other teams within the company
• Oversees all stages of product creation including design and development
• Mitigates roadblocks to achieve sprint/release goals

Who You Are:

• 3-5+ years of experience in a Product Owner and/or Product Manager role working with software development teams
• Strong background in subscription-based business models, including familiarity with churn management, pricing strategies, and monetization experiments.
• Candidates with strong AI literacy, practical experience using AI tools, and the ability to translate AI opportunities into product automation or business value will be given preference.
• Proven experience driving measurable business results through product iterations and experimentation.
• Experience with analytics platforms such as GA4, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Hotjar, Posthog or FullStory.
• Proficient in Agile methodologies and backlog management best practices.
• Outstanding communication and leadership skills, you influence without authority and keep stakeholders aligned.
• Fluent English and Azerbaijani, both written and spoken.

Working hours:

• You’ll be working 5 days a week from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. (13:00-14:00 lunch time). Four days will be based in the office, and one day (Friday) you can work from home
