Offshore Crane Operator

Location: Offshore Construction Vessel

We are currently seeking an experienced Offshore Crane Operator to join a major offshore Oil & Gas construction project. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled professionals with extensive offshore lifting experience and a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate offshore cranes safely and efficiently during lifting operations.
• Perform subsea and heavy lifting activities in compliance with company procedures.
• Coordinate lifting operations with the Bridge, Deck Foreman, and vessel management.
• Conduct daily and weekly crane inspections and routine maintenance.
• Monitor crane performance and report equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain crane logbooks, inspection records, and maintenance documentation.
• Ensure compliance with HSEQ standards and safe lifting procedures.
• Support and mentor junior crane operators onboard.

Requirements

• Technical education.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Offshore Crane Operator.

Hands-on experience with:

• Mast Cranes
• Subsea lifting operations
• Heave Compensation Systems

Huisman Cranes (preferred)

• Stage 3 Certification under BS7121-11:1988 Code.
• IMCA Crane Operator Logbook (or equivalent) with documented operating hours.
• English (Intermediate) and Azerbaijani (Fluent).
