Vessel Field Engineer (Offshore Construction Vessel)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site engineering support to Offshore Construction Management teams.
• Monitor offshore construction and installation activities to ensure safe and efficient execution.
• Review and support installation procedures, lift plans, drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Coordinate technical activities between project teams, vessel crews, subcontractors, and client representatives.
• Track project progress, monitor schedules, and prepare engineering reports.
• Support mobilization/demobilization activities and vessel operations planning.
• Participate in HAZID, HIPA, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
• Maintain vessel documentation, project records, and lessons learned reports.
• Mentor junior engineers and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Naval, Offshore Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar offshore engineering role within the Oil & Gas industry
• Offshore construction experience is essential
• Strong understanding of engineering design, construction, and installation methodologies
• Experience with AutoCAD and engineering software tools
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications
• Fluent in English and Azerbaijani
• Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills
