Vessel Operations Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Vessel Operations Engineer to join a major offshore Oil & Gas project. This role is ideal for professionals with expertise in offshore installation engineering, vessel operations, and marine construction who are passionate about delivering safe, efficient, and technically sound offshore operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support offshore installation engineering activities throughout project execution.
• Review engineering deliverables and recommend the most efficient installation solutions.
• Verify vessel suitability, equipment selection, and installation procedures.
• Provide technical support during tenders and project execution.
• Coordinate with vessel management and engineering teams to ensure smooth offshore operations.
• Participate in critical offshore installation phases and preparation yard activities.
• Monitor compliance with QA/QC, HSE, project schedules, and technical requirements.
• Contribute to risk assessments, lessons learned, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Naval Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within the Oil & Gas Construction industry.
• Strong understanding of offshore installation methods, vessel operations, and marine engineering.
• Knowledge of offshore standards, codes, and regulations.
• Experience in pipeline and offshore platform installation is highly desirable.
• Fluent in English and Azerbaijani.
