The work shall be performed at the Official Residence of the Head of Post or other places as required by the employer, under the employer’s direct orders or under those of someone representing the employer, and involves general services, institutional domestic support and support for official events.
2.2. The main duties are:
- cleaning, tidying and organizing the areas of the Official Residence;
- caring for clothing, bed, table and bath linen, including washing, ironing, storage and organization;
- supporting table service, lunches, dinners, receptions, cocktails and other official events;
- supporting the pantry, kitchen and preparation of food and beverages;
- organizing utensils, equipment and materials of the Official Residence;
- preparing and restoring rooms before and after official events;
- reporting when cleaning, pantry or kitchen supplies need to be replenished;
- controlling, safeguarding and maintaining existing stocks;
- to maintain confidentiality, discretion, responsibility, punctuality, initiative and good professional conduct;
- to have ability to work in a team;
- performing other tasks compatible with the position;
- flexibility in working hours.
2.3. Work may be required at different hours, including Saturdays, Sundays, holidays or at night, according to service needs and local law.
2.4. Desirable requirements are:
- experience in tasks such as cleaning, cooking, table service, laundry, hotels, restaurants, embassies, international organizations or official residences;
- knowledge of the Portuguese, English or Spanish language.

7.1. The final result shall list approved candidates in ranking order, with their final scores.
7.2. The 2 (two) highest-ranked candidates shall be called for hiring, provided that they meet all requirements.
7.3. The other approved candidates may be placed on a reserve list for up to 12 (twelve) months. The reserve list may be used only for the same position and in accordance with authorization of the Ministry of External Relations of Brazil, when required.
7.4. Approval does not guarantee hiring. Hiring depends on the Embassy’s needs, the existence of a vacancy, the required authorization and compliance with all requirements.
7.5. Before hiring, the selected candidate shall present original documents, a certificate of physical and mental fitness and any other documents required by local law or by SERE.
7.6. The gross monthly salary shall be AZN 1,245.01, subject to mandatory deductions under local law. The estimated net salary is AZN 1,030.23.
7.7. Subject to the applicable internal rules, the legislation of Azerbaijan and competent authorization, the Embassy may provide food products to the Support Assistant, up to the maximum monthly limit of 20% of the gross monthly base salary indicated in this Notice. This support shall not constitute salary or be included in the payslip.
7.8. False information, material omission or documentary irregularity may result in elimination of the candidate, annulment of hiring or termination of the contract.
8. OFFICIAL INFORMATION AND FINAL PROVISIONS
8.1. Official information shall be published on the website of the Embassy of Brazil in Baku: https://www.gov.br/mre/pt-br/embaixada-baku
8.2. The candidate must follow publications, calls, deadlines and results.

8.4. The Embassy may suspend, cancel or change the schedule for justified reasons, respecting publicity, impersonality and equal treatment.
8.5. Omitted cases shall be decided by the Selection Committee, subject to the applicable rules and, when necessary, instructions of the Ministry of External Relations of Brazil.
How to apply
4.1. Applications will be open from 01 July to 15 July, 2026. The Notice shall be published for at least 15 (fifteen) days.
4.2. Documents shall be sent only to the e-mail [email protected] by the end of the application period.
4.3. The candidate shall send:
• completed and signed application form, as provided in Annex I;
• simple curriculum vitae, with address, telephone number and e-mail address;
• copy of a valid identity document or passport;
• document proving regular residence and permission to work in Azerbaijan, when applicable;
• document proving basic education or experience compatible with the position;
• declaration of awareness regarding the nature of the position, as provided in Annex II;
• declaration of absence of kinship, as provided in Annex III;
• documents required from Brazilian candidates, under item 3.2.
4.4. Letters of recommendation, professional references or statements from former employers are not mandatory. If submitted, they may count points in the evaluation.
4.5. The Committee may request additional documents to clarify information, always respecting equal treatment among candidates.
4.6. Application means that the candidate has read and accepts the conditions of this Notice.
How the selection will work
5.1. The selection process shall be conducted by a Selection Committee appointed by the Head of Post.
5.2. The Committee shall receive applications, examine documents, carry out evaluations, assign scores, examine appeals and publish results.
5.3. Only candidates whose applications are accepted shall take part in the selection process.
5.4. The process shall have four stages: 1) document review, 2) curriculum and experience review, 3) practical test and 4) interview.
5.5. The maximum score shall be 100 points.
