Turner (Offshore Construction Vessel)

Location: Offshore, Azerbaijan

We are looking for an experienced Turner to join an Offshore Construction Vessel supporting oil & gas operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for machining, repairing, and manufacturing mechanical components while ensuring the highest HSE standards onboard.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate lathes, milling machines, drilling machines, and other machining equipment.
• Manufacture and repair mechanical parts according to technical drawings and specified tolerances.
• Carry out maintenance and repair of workshop machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machining tools in accordance with manufacturer recommendations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized machine shop.
• Participate in Toolbox Talks and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
• Ensure full compliance with HSE policies, Permit to Work procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Report directly to the 2nd Engineer and support other engineering activities as required.

Requirements

• Technical education.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar role on an Offshore Construction Vessel within the oil & gas industry.
• Hands-on experience operating lathes, milling, drilling, and other machining equipment.
• Ability to repair and manufacture mechanical components to required tolerances.
• Understanding of offshore HSE standards and Permit to Work systems.
• Fluent Azerbaijani and English.
• Experience with CNC machining is an advantage.
